Gambrel House

This house consisted of an expansive renovation to a Boston area home for a couple with three children. The focus of the interiors was the creation of a large and unique Kitchen where the owner—who is a well-known celebrity chef—could enjoy preparing meals for family and guests. The Kitchen was so configured as to provide ample space for food preparation and features a large, restaurant style cooking area with a custom stainless steel exhaust hood. Materials consisted of concrete counters, natural stone, exotic olive wood cabinets, and stainless and brushed nickel finishes.

Exterior renovations and expansions aimed to enliven and improve the architectural detailing of the old house while harmoniously blending new with old.
