Lexington House

This extensive renovation was completed in 2002 in a western Boston suburb, taking an ordinary builder's colonial and transforming the house into a dynamic new home for the client and their four children.

The house was completely reorganized to address the day-to-day functions of the family and the proper separation of public and private zones for living and entertaining. Additionally, the back of the house was pushed out and extensively opened up to better marry with a large backyard for indoor/outdoor use. This expansion generated a magnificent new Kitchen, larger Dining Room, a circular Breakfast Room, and a new Conservatory. A third floor was incorporated to house a Study and Guest Suite for the client with a great view of the rear of the property.
