Cape Cod Guest House

As requested by a long-standing client, MMA designed this quaint Cape Cod guesthouse to exude a quiet but elegant street presence that befits the neighborhood.

The interior spaces are more playful, using details and materials to create a "refined summer camp". Vaulted ceilings, wherever possible, generate an openness that is conducive to seasonal living. Douglas fir rafters, pumpkin pine floors and period wainscoting provide the traditional vocabulary to marry gracefully to this whimsical concept.
