Tudor Restoration and Addition

MMA, Inc. recently completed this multi-phased project west of Boston. Our charge was to renovate and supplement this 1930's Tudor house to meet the needs of a growing family and gracefully house the clients' extensive (and changing) art collection. Project designer Greg Graham balanced the existing traditional details and materials with the addition's cleaner, more contemporary vocabulary to create a sleek and cosmopolitan canvas for the rotating art. Storage, lighting, spatial volumes and transition all played an important role in juxtapositioning of the project's function and aesthetic.
