Elizabeth Cameron joined Morehouse MacDonald and Associates as an interior designer in 2017, to help us with interior design projects in the Lesser Antilles. The Oklahoma native moved to Boston in 2012 to pursue a degree in Architectural Studies with a minor in Visual Arts from Boston University which she received in January of 2016. She also studied European architectural history in Venice during her education at Boston University. Elizabeth earned her Masters of Arts degree in Interior Architecture at Suffolk University in 2018.

Elizabeth has supported the work of interior designers working with clients directly, including Mollie Johnson Interiors and Sterling Design as well as served as the primary interior designer when clients hire MMA for interiors. In 2022, Elizabeth started her own practice Elizabeth Cameron Interiors, and continues to work with MMA as the interior design consultant. She is currently focused on several interior projects at Morehouse MacDonald, including on our exciting Nevis Parrish Plantation home.

Anthony M. Frausto-Robledo, AIA, LEED AP, has been with MMA since 1999. In 2018 he was promoted to associate principal and in 2025 to principal and partner.

Growing up in Santa Barbara, California, he began his early architectural career with the noted west coast architect Jack Lionel Warner, working on country clubs, libraries, and custom residences. He has more than three decades of experience across a range of building types, including urban design in foreign markets. At MMA, he has spearheaded many of the firm’s non-residential projects—Ritz Carleton House Lobby and The Marshside Restaurant, among others.

Anthony has strong competencies in digital technologies in practice and is a respected writer on the subject. At the 2013 ABX Conference in Boston, The Boston Architectural College honored him with the 2013 Alumni in Practice Award for Architecture — “for contributions he has made to the profession informing the global architecture, engineering, and construction communities.”

He sits on the current Boston Architectural College AAC (Alumni Advisory Council).

Eileen Shields joined MMA in 1989 as Office Manager. During her more than 25 years with MMA, her position has evolved along with the growth of the firm. In addition to general office management, Eileen’s responsibilities also include bookkeeping, billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, insurance, and human resource management.

Eileen brings to MMA several years of experience in a variety of business settings including medical, insurance, accounting, and financial services.

Kyle McCreight Carroll is a talented project designer who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from Oberlin College and received her Master of Architecture from Miami University.

Her previous experience includes custom home design with all phases from pre-design to interiors to construction administration. Sustainable architecture has been a strong focus for Kyle since her academic days. She became LEED certified in 2008 and received her architecture license in 2010.

Duncan Morton joined the MMA team as a Project Architect. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Bates College and a Master’s in Education from Boston College.

After working for many years as a software engineer, he pursued his life-long passion for architecture. He received his Master of Architecture degree from the University of Virginia.

Duncan worked for an architectural firm in Charlottesville, Virginia for more than 18 years. His projects included historic estates where he was able to modify structures to suit modern amenities while retaining the homes’ original character.

Duncan is certified by the National Council of Architectural Review Boards (NCARB).  He is a registered architect in Massachusetts and Virginia.

James Christopherson joined MMA in 2000 and brings diverse experiences in design and building construction expertise spanning more than 25 years. Among those are several years in the design of large-scale medical facilities, assisted care communities, and nursing homes. James has also practiced for several years as an independent architectural designer and visual communications consultant. He has designed private residences, condominiums, banks, libraries, and office buildings; additionally, he has produced major illustrations for many of the Boston areas’ most respected architecture firms.

As a project designer at MMA, James is involved in all phases of the design and building process with a particular expertise and focus on the firm’s visual communication needs—developing both computer-generated imagery as well as traditional hand-drawn and watercolor artist’s renderings.

John S. MacDonald, AIA, is principal and owner of Morehouse MacDonald and Associates, Inc. and has served in that capacity since 1988, directing the firm’s growth and management. John serves as Principal-in-Charge of each project and is responsible for setting overall design direction within the firm. His designs have appeared in numerous design and professional magazines such as Architectural Digest, Metropolitan Home, Better Homes & Gardens, House Beautiful, Boston Common, Cape Cod & Islands Home Magazine, Boston Magazine and Trends Magazine. In addition, John has appeared on the cable television channel HGTV discussing the firm’s architectural work and showcasing several key projects.

John S. MacDonald is a registered architect in the states of Massachusetts, Maine, South Carolina and New Jersey, and is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Boston Society of Architects.
